"Year 2011: God is doing exceedingly, abundantly, above all you could ask, think, or imagine in your life!"

It’s hard to believe that 2010 is almost over. So much has happened in our lives, in the ministry, and in the lives of those who are a part of this ministry. Since the beginning of the year, Joel has been declaring that 2010 would be an “Ephesians 3:20” year — that God would do exceedingly, abundantly, above all you could ever ask, think or imagine — and the testimonies have been pouring in!

Recently, in our women’s ministry at the church, one of our staff members shared her perspective on what it meant for her to have an Ephesians 3:20 year. She didn’t receive an unexpected amount of money. She didn’t win a trip or get a new car. In fact, this year she was facing a very difficult trial in her life. She shared that as she looked around at the prosperity of her friends and fellow church members, she asked the Lord, “Where is my Ephesians 3:20 year?” It didn’t feel like a year of blessing to her, it felt like a year of hardship. But the Lord spoke gently to her heart and showed her that because she drew close to Him during her time of difficulty, she received the true riches that will last through eternity. The insight she received from the Word of God as she studied and meditated on the scripture carried her through which is a testimony of God’s “exceedingly, abundantly, above all” blessing in her life. She is stronger in her faith, she is more alive in her love, she has peace that surpasses understanding and that is beyond what she could ever ask, think, or imagine!

This week, as you make the transition from 2010 to 2011, take some time to reflect on what God has done in your life this year. Maybe some things didn’t turn out the way you expected. Maybe some unfair things happened, but know this: God is at work in your life and He is drawing you closer to Him. You are here on purpose for a purpose, and if you look with your eyes of faith, you’ll see how He’s kept you and brought you through so much! Ask Him to show you how this year has been an Ephesians 3:20 year for you and then thank Him for His faithfulness in this year and in the years to come. Remember, God is working all things together for your good and He is doing exceedingly, abundantly, above all you could ask, think, or imagine in your life!

“And now, isn’t it wonderful all the ways in which this distress has goaded you closer to God? You’re more alive, more concerned, more sensitive, more reverent, more human, more passionate, more responsible. Looked at from any angle, you’ve come out of this with purity of heart.” (II Corinthians 7:11, The Message)

"I thought we would be last, but we ended up being first.."

I've found that a lot of times life works out just like that. You may be headed somewhere in your life, and it looks like people or circumstances are pushing you back. It may seem like you're getting further and further away from where you want to be. But all God has to do is change the direction of the wind, and you'll be first in line. That's God's favor on your life. He can turn things around and make you first in line for a new job opportunity, a new home, a new relationship or a medical miracle. Today, you may feel like you're in the back of the line and nothing is going your way, but get ready because God is about to turn things around for you!

So the last will be first, and the first will be last (Matthew 20:16, NIV).

"Change Your Reality!!"
I was reading about this doctor in Europe. He had patients who were very sick. They had been treated through traditional methods but had not gotten any better. So this doctor gave them a very unusual prescription. He had them say three or four times an hour, "I am getting better and better, every day, in every way." Over the next few months, he saw remarkable results. The same patients who had not improved with traditional medications, all of the sudden, began to get better and better. What happened? As they heard themselves saying over and over, "I'm getting better. I'm improving. My health is coming back," those words began to create a new image on the inside. Before long, they started seeing themselves strong, healthy and whole. We see this principle all throughout scripture that once you get a picture of something on the inside, then God can bring it to pass on the outside.

I know so many people who would go to a whole new level in life if they would just practice this principle. We all know people who are always tired and rundown. And what are they constantly saying? "I'm so tired. I just don't have any energy." They've talked about it so long that it's become a reality.

The more we talk about something the more we draw it into our lives. If you get up in the morning and just talk about how you feel, how you're tired and how you're not going to make it, you are digging your own hole with your words. Instead of talking about the problem, talk about the solution! That's why the Scripture says, "Let the weak say, 'I am strong.'" Notice it doesn't say, "Let the weak talk about their weakness. Let the weak call five friends and discuss their weakness." "Let the weak complain about their weakness." No, it says in effect, "Let the weak say exactly the opposite of how they feel." In other words, don't talk about the way you are, talk about the way you want to be. If you get up in the morning feeling tired and lethargic, instead of complaining, more than ever you need to declare, "I am strong in the Lord. I am full of energy. My strength is being renewed. This is going to be a great day."

When you declare what God says about you, not only will it change how you feel, it will change how you think, and it will change how you act. It will change your reality! You won't go out with a weak, defeated, victim mentality. You'll go out with a victor's mentality, strong and well able to embrace the blessings God has in store for you!

"Don’t Let the Naysayers Talk You Out of Your Dream"

I have a friend who had a dream to start his own business. He had a plan, but he needed a bank to get behind him so he could get a loan to get the business off the ground. First, he went to his bank that he had used for many years, but they turned him down for the loan. They said his idea wasn't a good idea. He went to another bank and another. They all said the same thing, "It's never going to work." In fact, thirty-one banks told him "no." Thirty-one banks said, "It's not a good idea. It's never going to work." But when you're in circumstances like this, you have to decide, are you are going to believe the report of people or are you going to believe the report of the Lord? This man chose to believe what God had placed on the inside of him. All he had was $150. Really, he needed several hundred thousand dollars to get the business off the ground the right way, but he took what he had and bought a few supplies to do what he could to get the business started. His first client liked his work so much that they gave him a one-year contract. He took that contract to the bank. Thirty-one banks told him "no," but bank number thirty-two said "yes." Today, this man has a multimillion dollar, growing, successful business. What happened? He used what he had in his hand. When he recognized what he had and took a step of faith in spite of what his circumstances were saying, that's when God showed up and started breathing in his direction.

You may have a dream right now, but like this man, every voice is telling you, "It's never going to work. It's not a good idea. You don't have enough people behind you." No, God wouldn't have given you the dream; He wouldn't have put that idea in your heart without giving you the resources to see it come to pass.

Now is the time to look around because when God gives you a dream, He gives it to you in seed form. In other words, if you have a dream to have a big oak tree, God is going to give you an acorn. Everything you need to see that dream come to pass is within your reach right now. Don't just sit back and say, "Well, I don't have the connections, Joel. Everybody tells me it's not a good idea. All I've got is this little bitty 'acorn'." No, use what you have because God has already lined up the right people, the right breaks, the right resources. Thirty-one banks may have told you "no," but let me tell you, bank number thirty-two is coming. Thirty-one banks may have said, "Not a good idea," but bank number thirty-two is going to say, "Great idea. We're on board." Don't let people talk you out of what you know God placed in your heart because He is faithful, and He will fulfill every promise He has deposited inside of you!

"Again I say, Rejoice!"

Rejoicing is a supernatural force that opens the way for God to come on the scene. Not only will God fight our battles for us in the supernatural realm, but He will show up and fight our battles in the natural realm when we make the decision to rejoice..

But when you begin to rejoice, it makes everything clear. It brings life into focus and gives you the right perspective that God is on your side fighting your battles for you!

Today, choose to rejoice! Not because you have adversity, not because of your difficulties, but because God is bigger and stronger than anything that could come against you! Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say, rejoice!

"Let God Settle It!"

Every person on earth has experienced difficulty. We've all had times when we've been hurt, wronged or taken advantage of. But God is a just God. Hebrews 10:30 tells us that He will repay us the exact compensation owed to us. He is the one to settle and solve the cases of His people.

Do you need a case settled today? Maybe you've had unfair things happen. Maybe somebody stole your childhood or left you with a bunch of children to raise by yourself. Perhaps a business partner cheated you, and you lost a lot of money. You could easily be angry and bitter, trying to pay them back. But instead, be encouraged because God is a just God. He knows every person who has hurt you. He has seen every person who has violated you or left you alone and afraid. Nobody else may have seen it, but God saw it; and He knew it wasn't right. Today, He is saying, "I'm going to settle your cases. I'm going to make your wrongs right."

God promised in Isaiah that He would pay you back double for every unfair thing that has happened. That means every person who has lied about you or tried to make you look bad, let it go because double is coming. Forgive the people who violated you because double is on its way.

Friend, God never brings you out the same; He always brings you out better. He will make the enemy pay for bringing that injustice into your life. Do your part and let it go. When you choose to forgive, you are handing everything over to God. When you forgive, you open the door for His forgiveness and redemption in your own live. Today, choose forgiveness and let God be your vindicator. Let Him settle your cases because He promises to repay you double in this life!

"Never let go your Dreams.."
-Yohard-

Years ago, when we found out that Victoria was pregnant with our first child, we were so excited. I remember coming out of the doctor's office and the first thing we did was call our parents, and everyone in our families. It was a great day! We were amazed that we were going to have a baby. We were so overjoyed with the news. We were on cloud nine as we left the doctor's office, giving each other high five's. But, seven or eight months later, when Victoria was carrying all the extra weight, uncomfortable, a little bit irritable, hurting in her back, not able to sleep at night, you know, it's kind of funny but we didn't call too many people during that time. She wouldn't give me any high fives any more. The excitement of conception had worn off and now we were "where the rubber meets the road." We were down in the trenches where we had to suffer some inconveniences. We had moved out of the fun, easy stage of conception and into the much more difficult stage of development. It wasn't as easy in this stage; there was some pain and discomfort. Did we do something wrong to bring this on? No, it's all just part of the process. Inside, where we couldn't see, the seed was growing and developing. Changes were taking place.
If you think about it, it's the same way in the spiritual realm. When you conceive a dream in your heart from God, it's so exciting. You want to tell everyone about it. When you first get a revelation of His promises, it's easy to stay encouraged and full of faith. But the real test happens in the next stage. Are we willing to fight the good fight of faith and go through the development process? Are we willing to keep a good attitude even when we're uncomfortable and things aren't going our way?

Today, remember that in the process of giving birth to your dreams, sometimes things are going to be uncomfortable. Sometimes things aren't going to go the way you planned, but remember, that dream is still growing inside of you. You are closer than you think. As you stay in faith and keep speaking God's Word over your dreams, you'll see them come to pass. It won't be long until you are holding that promise in your hands and giving all the glory to Almighty God!

"Wherever You Go, the Blessing Goes..."

-Joel Osteen-

Psalm 37 says, "Even in famine the righteous will have more than enough." Notice, it doesn't say "barely enough," it says "more than enough." Why is that? Because wherever you go, the blessing goes. Your spouse, your family, your company should be glad to have you because when you show up, the blessing of God shows up. Be encouraged today to keep being your best and following God's Word because there is a commanded blessing on your life. He wants to overtake you with His blessings and prosper you in every area of your life!

"All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you obey the LORD your God" (Deuteronomy 28:2, NAS).

"It involves effort, patient, open mind and forgiving to make your relationship last.."
-Yohard-

There are times when you get into a relationship and wonder if it will last. There are some indicators that your relationship will last. The main ways to know if your relationship will last are: communication abilities, major differences of opinion, and what type of honestly is there in the relationship.

So to begin with to know if your relationship will last is the communication abilities that your relationship began with and currently has. Communication is very important in any relationship. When two people can have open communication in the relationship it will have a better chance of lasting through time.

Good communication includes not jumping to conclusions, but talking to the other person in the relationship and getting the facts. No matter how great a relationship is it will not last if you cannot communicate between those in the relationship with an open mind and forgiving heart.
Good communication allows those involved in the relationship to overcome any hard times that may come to the relationship. With good and open communication you can know that your relationship will last.

Another way to know if your relationship will last is to consider any major differences of opinion. It is good for a relationship for those involved to not have every opinion the exact same.
How to know if your relationship will last is to look at the level of honesty in the relationship. Honesty is very important if you want a relationship to last. If you want to know if your relationship will last you will need to be sure and be honest with yourself and within the relationship.

Honesty within a relationship will allow those involved in the relationship to not have secrets or hurdles to hide from each other. When there are a lot of hidden issues in a relationship it typically doesn't last long. Be careful what you hide form the other person in the relationship.

This doesn't mean that every relationship will need to have every little detail told about. It just means that if there is something that is relevant to the relationship and those in the relationship, don't keep it a secret. Even if you think you are protecting someone.

If you are concerned about an issue in the relationship, take your time and be certain what you want to say. Or even wait until the other person brings it up. Being honest is talking about what goes on and not keeping information from those you care about. Be honest and the relationship will last.

How to know if your relationship will last can be hard sometimes. There are some major indicators that will help you to determine if your relationship has a good chance of lasting. First, what kind of communication is there in the relationship? Second, are there major obstacles because of differences of opinion? And third, is there honesty in the relationship, so that barriers are not made? Having a lasting relationship is important in lifes long journey, may you find lasting relationships and enjoy those you know.

"Love must be learned, and learned again; there is no end to it...."
-Katherine Anne Porter -

Our relationships are precious, valuable treasures from heaven, and we should handle them carefully, always looking for ways to build bridges to each other's hearts. I know that all of us desire to come up higher and one way we can take a step towards the next level is in our love for one another.

At one time or another, we have all faced the temptation to disconnect by giving someone the silent treatment. Sometimes when someone hurts or offends us, we can be tempted to disconnect. But one of the most common mistakes people make in relationships is to give the other person the silent treatment in an effort to pull back.
One of the most freeing experiences is to recognize that you are two different people who see things differently, and you can still love each other and stay connected. Just because you have a disagreement with your friends or family members does not mean there are not plenty of other areas on which you see eye to eye. It just means you have a difference of opinion. Having the same heart and the same goal is what maintains a good connection. There will be times when we do not agree on every decision or subject, but we should always believe in one another, support one another, and move forward through life together—connected.

"Sometimes God says 'not yet'.."
-Rick Warren-

You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For in just a very little while, "He who is coming will come and will not delay." Hebrews 10:36-37 (NIV).

"If you're discouraged, turn it around by remembering God teaches you patience during delay." If you're discouraged because of God's delay in answering your prayers, understand the delay is NOT a denial. Just because the answer or the miracle hasn't come - yet - that doesn't mean God isn't going to answer or that He's forgotten you or that He doesn't care about you. It simply means "not yet!"

Part of becoming spiritually mature is learning the difference between "no" and "not yet," between a denial and a delay. The Bible tells us, "He who is coming will come and will not delay" (Hebrews 10:37 NIV).

God's delay may be a test of your patience. Anybody can be patient once. And, most people can be patient twice. And, a lot of us can be patient three times. So God tests our patience over and over and over.

Why? So He can see how patient you are? No!

He does it so you can see how patient you are. So you'll know what's inside you, and you'll be able to know your level of commitment. God tests you so that you can know He is faithful, even if the answers you seek are delayed.

If you're discouraged, turn it around by remembering God teaches you patience during delay. Ask Him to transform your discouragement into patience. You may be going through difficult times right now. You're discouraged because the situation you face seems unmanageable, unreasonable, or unfair.

It may seem unbearable and inside you're basically saying, "God, I can't take it anymore. I just can't take it anymore!" But you can.

You can stay with it longer because God is with you. He'll enable you to press on. Remember, you are never a failure until you quit. Resist discouragement and finish the race God has set before you.

"If you have a dream..."

Don't wait for some distant day to come,
It may be too late before you've even begun
Not everyone will agree with all you decide..
But true to yourself first and foremost.

The only important thing in life is what you do
With the time you spend here on earth
Don't be afraid to follow your desires,
They are not silly nor selfish..

Take the time and do what makes you feel alive..
Leave your fears and regrets in the past..
For this is where they belong.

Don't claud today with things that can't be undone
You have no more control over yesterday or tomorrow..
Then you do the raging of your passions,
Do not quit these dreams nor quench your desires..
For if you do, your journey is ended..

You have only today to begin a new and follow your dreams

For in the end, all we have are our memories
When the twilight comes to us.. let there be..
No excuses, no explanations.. no regrets..

"I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much.."
-Mother Teresa-
"Sing, O childless woman, you who have never given birth."
-Isaiah 54:1, NLT-
Sometimes, when we don't see our dreams and desires coming to pass, we can feel empty and barren like a woman who is unable to have children. But look at what this verse is saying: if you've got unborn promises, don't just sit around in defeat. Don't just give up and say, "Too bad for me." No, God says when you're barren, the first thing you need to do is sing a song of praise.
You might think, "Well, Joel, I'm kind of depressed today. I'll sing after I have my 'baby.'" No, this passage wasn't written to people who were holding their baby and had seen their dreams come to pass. It was written to empty-armed people; people who didn't have what they were believing for. Do you know why? When you're giving God praise, do you know what you are doing? You are activating your faith and putting yourself into position to give birth to that promise. You are setting yourself up for God to move on your behalf.
Why don't you get into position today by singing a song of praise? All throughout the day, thank Him for what He is doing in your life and watch those dreams and desires come to pass.
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
"Father in heaven, I surrender all my questions, all my doubts, all my fears to You today. I know that You have a plan to fulfill every dream and desire in my heart. I choose to sing praises to You this day and thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness in my life. In Jesus' Name. Amen."

It settles for less than perfection, and makes allowances for human weaknesses. Love is content with the present, hopes for the future, and does not brood over the past. It is the day-in and day-out chronicles of irritations, problems, compromises, small disappointments, big victories, and working toward common goals. "Starve your doubts and feed your faith"

I never realized until I began really studying God’s Word for myself that the biggest struggles I’ve faced in my life have all been rooted in fear. Insecurity, low self-esteem, a poor self-image, rejection – they are all rooted in fear. FEAR does not come from God. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear…(I John 4:18 NIV).

The more you get to know God, the more confident you become in His love for you. The more confident you become, the less fear you have. The closer you get to Him, the more confident you become in His promises to you that He will never leave you nor forsake you, He will never let you down, He will always provide for you. That confidence is developed the more you receive His love for you.

Fear and faith are two opposite forces. You are either full of faith or full of fear. Fear is the result of listening to Satan’s lies MORE THAN God’s truth. If you are full of fear, that reveals whose voice is the loudest to you.

In order for anything to live, it has to be fed. If you find a stray dog and you give him a bowl of water and some dog food, he’ll be back tomorrow. If you feed into the fears that Satan has planted in your mind (by thinking about them, talking about them, worrying about them), they’ll stay. You have to starve what you want to die and feed what you want to live.

Lester Sumrall said, “Starve your doubts and feed your faith.”

How does faith come? Romans 12:2 says, “Faith comes by hearing the Word…” You’ve got to start hearing God’s Word more than you’re hearing Satan’s lies which means one Sunday morning message is not enough. I’m speaking from experience. Listening to the Word has to become a part of your daily routine if you truly want to overcome fear and step out and do what God wants you to do!

What you don’t know can hurt you! The Bible says, “People are destroyed by a lack of knowledge!”

Satan is a liar, and he works through fear! God’s Word says, “Fear not! There is nothing to fear!” Nothing means nothing! You have to educate yourself in the Word. Build your knowledge of God’s promises to you. Nobody can make you do it.

"I believe in my God's Promises!"

If we continue to hold onto what God has spoken to us and if we continue to stay in His Word then we will see the manifestation of the promise. “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us”…(2 Corinthians 1:20). Even when something God has promised seems utterly impossible, keep clinging to His Word because God never fails!

The first step is to know what you have been promised! We find the promises of God in His Word. Make a commitment to soak yourself in His Word, until you know without a shadow of a doubt, that He wants to freely give you the things you need. “He that spared not His own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?”…(Rom. 8).
The next step is to simply believe that we have received. What things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them…Mark 11:24. What is belief without action? If it has already taken place in the spiritual realm then it is as good as done in the physical realm.

You will see the manifestation of the promises of God! God is not a maybe, sometimes, when He feels like it, sort of God, He is a God who is the same yesterday, today, and forever! What He did for Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, He will do for you!

"Fight For What Is Yours!"

If God has given it to you, then don't let Satan take it away. … the devil said to Him, “If You are the Son of God…” But Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written…” Luke 4:3-4.
You’re not a loser anymore! You’re a winner in Christ Jesus! All you have to do is shake your Bible at the devil and tell him, “It is written, I am more than a conqueror in Jesus’ Name!”
Satan cannot steal from you any longer. Tell him, “You’ve defeated me for the last time! I’m the seed of Abraham, I’m an heir of God, I’m entitled to be blessed. I am entitled to health. I’m entitled to prosperity! I'm entitled to have everything God has put in my dreams. You’re not stealing it from me any longer.”
“Success is the willingness to bear pain.”

Don’t get it in your head that success or walking in your calling will be easy! If it were easy, everyone would be successful! Peter Daniels says, “Success is the willingness to bear pain.” Just because a door is closed, don’t assume it must be God closing the door! Daniels says, “Kick it open!” He tells a story of a guy who wanted a loan for his dream. He went to one bank and was turned down. He went to another bank and was turned down. Ninety-eight banks later, someone believed in his dream! Now, he’s made over a billion dollars! How many of us would have gone to 4 banks, been denied and said, ”It must not be God! I guess I missed it!” Your calling is calling! You don’t have time to waste! I discovered in my own life that you better learn to fight for your dreams!

“Ask and it will be given to you…”
(Luke 11:10)
God listens to every word you say. God wants you to be confident that He hears everything you say to Him. Whenever you pray, He always hears. When Jesus prayed for Lazarus to be raised from the dead, He had no doubt that the Father heard His prayer: "Father, I thank You that You have heard me. I knew that You always hear me… "(John 11:41).

In the same way, God wants you to be confident that He hears you when you pray. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us – whatever we ask – we know that we have what we asked of Him. (1 John 5:14-15 NIV). God’s Word is His will. Therefore whatever we ask Him in accordance with His written Word, that He promises to give. When you find a promise in the Bible that provides a solution to your problem, simply ask God and be confident that He hears you and will give you what you asked of Him.

"It's the inner pictures you have of yourself that paint your destiny!"

When you ponder on negative thoughts, you're developing inner feelings and pictures of hopelessness and despair. Despair will result in an inner image of failure, poverty, disease and sickness. It is actually the very opposite of hope and faith. These inner images, whether they are of hope or of despair, become the blueprint of your faith… or your fears. This blueprint will ultimately control your destiny in life.

So, whatever you do, don't give up! Just dig deep, I mean DEEP, into the Word of God to start building your hope! Start to develop and see the inner image God has of you, not what the devil has being lying to you about! Change those inner feelings of distress and despair with the Word of God, and no demon in hell will be able to throw those negative inner images at you again!

It's the inner pictures you have of yourself that paint your destiny! The Word of God, when you dig deep in it, will begin to paint new and beautiful pictures of who you are and what you can do.

For as he thinks in his heart, so is he… PROVERBS 23:7

Just because you can't see God, doesn't mean He is not there.."For we walk by faith, not by sight."

Cherokee Legend

Do you know the legend of the Cherokee Indian youth's rite of Passage? His father takes him into the forest, blindfolds him and leaves him alone. He is required to sit on a stump the whole night and not remove the blindfold until the rays of the morning sun shine through it. He cannot cry out for help to anyone.

Once he survives the night, he is a MAN. He cannot tell the other boys of this experience, because each lad must come into manhood on his own. The boy is naturally terrified. He can hear all kinds of noises. Wild beasts must surely be all around him. Maybe even some human might do him harm. The wind blew the grass and earth, and shook his stump, but he sat stoically, never removing the blindfold. It would be the only way he could become a man!

Finally, after a horrific night the sun appeared and he removed his blindfold. It was then that he discovered his father sitting on the stump next to him. He had been at watch the entire night, protecting his son from harm. We, too, are never alone. Even when we don't know it, God is watching over us, sitting on the stump beside us. When trouble comes, all we have to do is reach out to Him.
“You have to look forward to where God is taking you. Faith is a process, God lead us one step at the time.”

God will always put inside you whatever you need to move forward. If you need strength, it’s inside you. If you need hope, it’s inside you. God has placed them within you because He’ll never ask you to do something that He hasn’t already prepared you to do. Be open-handed and open-minded to what God is doing in your life today. He has the right places, the right people, the right opportunities lined up for your future.

“Sometimes the things we fight against, the things we think are trying to pull us down, are actually part of God’s plan to launch us into a new season.”

Sometimes God stirs us out of comfortable situations and puts us in situations to stretch us and cause us to use our faith. We may not like it and it may not always be comfortable but God would not allow it if He didn’t have any purpose for it.

If you’ll learn not only to accept but to embrace it, God promises He will do a new thing in your life and His “new” is always better than “the old”! He will bring us through a journey of faith, that’s where we learned to trust Him and believe that He always knows what’s best.

“If you’re thinking, “Life would have been different if only I had this or if only that had happened, let it go! Let go of the “if only...”

Don’t get caught in that trap. Know that God is in complete control and He is guiding every one of your steps. Learn to trust Him. Even if life may not make a lot of sense right now, God has a plan. God always has another option.

When you trust Him, when you stay in faith, He will make a way even when there seems to be no way. He will fill your life with blessings and treasures beyond your wildest dreams.

"God wants to do great things for you!"

Good things are coming your way! Is that what you’re believing for or are you simply wishing that statement were true? It takes more than mere mental ascent to lay a hold of what God has for you. Faith comes to life when there’s intense desire.

If you really want what you are desiring for, then get a vision for it and refuse to let it go. Your imagination is your preview of upcoming attractions!

When the Lord brought back the captive ones of Zion, we were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with joyful shouting; then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” The Lord has done great things for us; we are glad…(Psalms 126:1-3 NAS)

The Lord has done great things for us! If it is in His Word, then we know that it has to be true. God is not a man that He should lie! What a God we serve! Let us earnestly desire those great things that God has already done for us! The Lord is good and His mercy endures forever!

"When God created you, He planted inside of you His seeds of greatness. Everything you need in order to be successful in your relationship, on your job and in every area of your life is inside you."

Have you ever stopped to think about how a seed works? A seed is actually dormant until it is placed in the right conditions. You can have seeds for every kind of tree, plant or flower tucked away in a drawer for years and nothing will happen. Those seeds are full of tremendous potential just waiting for the right environment to grow and produce.

In much the same way, the seeds that God placed inside of you can lie dormant until they are planted in the soil of your mind. Open your mind and your heart and ask God to bring your seeds to fruition. When fear comes against you, His seeds will spring to life and give you the confidence you need to push past that fear and into your destiny.

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
(Hebrews 11:1)

Don't ever short-circuit a miracle by trying to see it in progress! So many believers do that. They'll lay hands on someone and pray for healing or deliverance and then, when they don't see any immediate, outward change take place, they'll withdraw their faith and assume nothing happened.
Next time you're tempted to evaluate what God is doing by the looks of things, don't do it. Remember instead that it is faith, not appearances, that makes miracles happen. It's the only real evidence that you need!
-Kenneth Copeland-
"For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power."
(1 Corinthians 4:20)
Remember that when Jesus arose, you arose. When He came out of hell and defeated the enemy, you came out of hell and defeated the enemy. His victory is your victory because you're in Him.
In the hard places, remember that. When the devil tells you you're not going to get your answer this time, remember that. When he tells you there's no way out, you remember Christ, the Anointed One, the Victorious Conqueror, risen from the dead and seated at the right hand of the Father!

"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him"

BELIEVE HE EXISTS. BELIEVE HE KNOWS YOUR CIRCUMSTANCE. THANK HIM FOR WHAT HE HAS ALREADY DONE. BELIEVE HE WILL REWARD YOU when you seek Him. TRUST IN HIM (put all worry & hope on Him) SEEK HIM (ask, listen, look for God) in your circumstance and for His promise to you and PRAISE HIM (be thankful, grateful, appreciative and joyful) for what He has promised to give you.
